Today's special activity was making a new snack treat. My sister-in-law, Missy, gave me a couple fantastic books with activities for toddlers, and Melody found this recipe in one of them.
Step 1: Get your aprons on. (Melody forgot her own apron, but Jack insisted that she wear one of Mommy's!)

Step 2: Put a couple graham crackers in a baggie and crush them up. The cylinder blocks from the wooden block set we got from Samma & Papa were "just the right size" rolling pins!
The initial crushing of the graham crackers is a little tough. Adults or strong brothers can help with this step. :)

Step 3: Now it's time to put a couple banana chunks in your baggie.

Caution: If this is looking really yummy your child might try to put ALL the banana chunks in at one time!

Step 4: Shake, shake, shake!
Shaking vigorously is best!

Step 5: Gobble it up!

Yum, yum, yum.
This was a big hit and will definitely be a regular snack treat from now on!
