Rourke's Special Visit

This week Aunt Missy, Uncle Nate, & Teigen are off to Utah for a ski vacation. Rourke is a little young for all that yet, so he's spending the week with Samma. Samma decided to come down for a long weekend to have Rourke, Malynn, & Jack all together, and it worked out fabulously! All three kids were healthy, on the same sleep schedule, and eating the same foods. (I'm not sure we could have handled three 1 year olds if some of those things weren't aligned!)

We had a yummy breakfast together each morning, and we always got some pictures or video for Rourke's mommy, daddy, and big brother.

Our first main event was a trip to the playground. Malynn and Rourke were having a blast together in the swings.


Every time Rourke's feet hit the ground he was off and running!


Another main event was an afternoon of dancing!


And the last, but certainly not least, main event was playing in the SNOW!


I just love these pictures of them with the snow falling!





And it really was a special day for Rourke to be playing in the snow, since mommy, daddy, and big brother were doing the same thing!


I almost couldn't believe it when Rourke went over and picked up the UVa hat and wanted to wear it. (He comes from a Hokie family after all.) But now we can call it even after my brother got pictures of my kids in Tech hats last year!
