Jack is very busy figuring out how things work these days. If it can be moved or manipulated in any way he's on it! He especially loves pushing on things,
big things, to see if/how they move, such as stools, chairs, pack-n-plays (yup, he's strong enough to push around a pack-n-play!). One of the best things to watch was when he was rattling the blinds and discovered that shaking them down at the bottom made the strings at the top move around. I don't know who had the better look of fascination on their face, him or me. :) But, one of his favorites is the basketball hoop on this walk/ride toy. Once he realized that putting a little ball in the hoop made it roll out the side and catch in a pocket below he has been trying to put all sorts of things in the hoop to test them out! He has found that most things other than small balls don't work (e.g., blocks, books, diaper cream bottles, markers, bath letters, computer mice, sippy cups -see below-), but he has had some success with smaller items such as a paci and a little toy guy. What will he try next?
We learned how to sit at the table to play like big cousin Teigen does!
Aunt Missy was traveling "across the pond" so Uncle Nate came to visit for a couple days with the boys (cousin Teigen & baby Rourke).
There are all sorts of fun things to play with in the basement play room!
We ate meals and shared food (like mango & sweet potato fries) with Teigen.
Baby gates are no match for this twosome!
Malynn & I were enjoying a favorite, Dr. Seuss' Oh, The Thinks You Can Think.
Teigen decided to get in on story time, while Jack was busy investigating big stuff.
